Mandatory legal retention periods remain unaffected.
CCM19 is used to obtain the legally required consent for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(1)(c) GDPR.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details provided by you, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of requests addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Requests by e-mail, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your inquiry.
The data you send to us via contact requests remains with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Newsletter
Newsletter data
If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. Further data is not collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers to process the newsletters, which are described below.
Rapidmail
This website uses Rapidmail to send newsletters. The provider is rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg i.Br., Germany.
Rapidmail is a service with which, among other things, the sending of newsletters can be organized and analyzed. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter is stored on Rapidmail's servers in Germany.
Data analysis by Rapidmail
For analysis purposes, the e-mails sent with Rapidmail contain a so-called "tracking pixel," which connects to Rapidmail's servers when the e-mail is opened. This allows us to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened.
Furthermore, we can use Rapidmail to determine whether and which links in the newsletter message are clicked. All links in the e-mail are so-called tracking links, which can be used to count your clicks. If you do not want any analysis by Rapidmail, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this in every newsletter message.
For more details on the analysis functions of Rapidmail, please follow the following link:
https://www.rapidmail.de/hilfe/kategorie/statistiken.
Legal basis
Data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Storage period
The data deposited with us for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected.
After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, provided this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is only used for this purpose and is not merged with other data. This serves both your interests and our interest in complying with legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). There is no time limit on the storage in the blacklist. You can object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
For more details, please refer to the data security information of Rapidmail at:
https://www.rapidmail.de/datensicherheit.
Order processing
We have concluded a contract on order processing (AVV) for the use of the aforementioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law that ensures that the provider only processes the personal data of our website visitors according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.
Newsletter distribution to existing customers
If you order goods or services from us and provide your e-mail address, this e-mail address may subsequently be used by us to send a newsletter, provided we inform you about this in advance. In such a case, only direct advertising for our own similar goods or services will be sent via the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time. A corresponding link can be found in every newsletter for this purpose. The legal basis for sending the newsletter in this case is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(3) UWG (German Act Against Unfair Competition).
After you have unsubscribed from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us in a blacklist to prevent future mailings to you.
6. Plugins and tools
Google Maps
This site uses the map service Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. With the help of this service, we can embed map material on our website.
To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer. If Google Maps is activated, Google may use Google Fonts for the purpose of uniform representation of fonts. When you call up Google Maps, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and makes it easy to find the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If appropriate consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g., device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TDDDG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
Data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. Details can be found here:
https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/ and
https://privacy.google.com/businesses/gdprcontrollerterms/sccs/.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
The company is certified under the "EU-US Data Privacy Framework" (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information on this can be obtained from the provider under the following link:
https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/participant/5780.
7. eCommerce and payment providers
Processing of customer and contract data
We collect, process, and use personal customer and contract data to establish, define, and modify our contractual relationships. We only collect, process, and use personal data about the use of this website (usage data) insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to invoice them. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The collected customer data will be deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and the expiry of any existing statutory retention periods. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
8. Own services
Handling of applicant data
We offer you the opportunity to apply for a position with us (e.g., by e-mail, mail, or via an online application form). In the following, we inform you about the scope, purpose, and use of your personal data collected during the application process. We assure you that the collection, processing, and use of your data will take place in accordance with applicable data protection law and all other legal provisions and that your data will be treated as strictly confidential.
Scope and purpose of data collection
If you submit an application to us, we process your associated personal data (e.g., contact and communication data, application documents, notes taken during job interviews, etc.) insofar as this is necessary to decide on the establishment of an employment relationship. The legal basis for this is Section 26 BDSG according to German law (initiation of an employment relationship), Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (general contract initiation) and – if you have given your consent – Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time. Your personal data will only be disclosed within our company to persons involved in processing your application.
If the application is successful, the data you submitted will be stored in our data processing systems on the basis of Section 26 BDSG and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for the purpose of executing the employment relationship.
During the application process, we may also conduct an internet search about you. This primarily includes Google searches, LinkedIn, and Xing. The legal basis for this type of processing is our legitimate interest in obtaining an overall impression of publicly available information about you in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention period of the data
If we are unable to offer you a position, you reject a job offer, or withdraw your application, we reserve the right to retain the data you have transmitted on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for up to 6 months after the end of the application process (rejection or withdrawal of the application). Subsequently, the data is deleted and the physical application documents are destroyed. The retention serves in particular as evidence in the event of a legal dispute. If it is apparent that the data will be required after the 6-month period has expired (e.g., due to an impending or pending legal dispute), deletion will only take place when the purpose for further retention no longer applies.
Longer retention may also take place if you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or if legal retention obligations prevent deletion.
